Musical background:
I started singing when I began to talk. My mother let me play the piano. I really didn’t like that, but over the years I learned to love playing the piano and I thank my mother for pushing me.
I started to perform when I was 8 years old. I played the piano and sang along. And I kept on doing that untill I was in highschool. There I entered the school’s talentshow and since then I kept on singing. Never had the money though to get some singing lessons.
When I was 19 years old I started to sing in a soul/funk and disco coverband where I was a background singer (with some songs where I was the lead singer) for 9 years. Then I found A New Dawn and they found me. And since 2007 I started taking singing lessons.
In between the singing, I also learned myself to play the guitar and I played djembé for a while. I really loved to play djembé and soon I will learn how to play drum ... yay!

My mother and my sister and my love. I learn a lot from them.

I would love to see so many places in the world. But first I want to go to Morocco, to my family.

Talking with the other band members and our crew, laughing with them and singing to warm my voice.

I’m used to a lot of weird stuff, so I guess the strangest experience is yet to come.

That I will fall on my face muahaha or lose my voice.
