First of all : Happy New Year! Let's hope 2012 will be great year for everyone!
Now to our New Year's resolutions: There are a few.... The first being the A New Dawn-newsletter. The first one was sent at 00:00:01 (that's one second in the new year :) ). We will try to keep you updated on a regular basis on what's going on with and around the band. If you want to receive the newsletter, please subscrib on www.anewdawnband.nl . We'll make sure to include you!
Then the big news: It is our pleasure to inform you that as per January 1st, 2012, the line-up of A New Dawn is complete again. After a few auditions, we found two very capable persons to complete the line-up again. So, without further ado, let us introduce you to:
 On drums: Luc van den Berge. You might know him as the drummer for Warclash. Warclash and A New Dawn performed two times together in 2011, so we knew a bit what Luc was capable of and he soon proved to be the right man for the job. We are really happy with this speed of light double bass maniac.
On vocals we are happy to introduce you to Elkie Both. Finding a female vocalist to sing next to Alysia, proved to be not an easy task. Fortunately, we stumbled upon Elkie in December. After her first audition, we all knew she was the right person for the job.
That all said, it's time to get back to business again.  We have already started recording new tracks for a brand new E.P., that will be released as soon as possible. The E.P. will contain both brand new material aswell as some cool bonus material. The E.P. will be recorded at Currahee Studio's in Leiden. We look forward to release the new material. We are planning to make it a special release!
Also, with the band complete again, we will do our best to start performing live again as soon as we can. One show has already been confirmed. On June 9th, we will play at Het Blok in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel again. Last year we played at Het Blok and we look forward to doing it over again! More dates will be release soon!

Time again for some good news! It may have been a bit quiet for a little while, but just consider that a calm before the storm. We are happy to anounce, that we are now working with a new drummer and a new female vocalist to complete the band again. Both passed their first auditions with flying colours. Right now, we will start working on the second part, a live performance, which we all very much look forward to. So, who are these two newbies? Well, we are not going to tell you just jet, but expect more details in the near future!
 In the meantime, there is some more news to mention: Our latest album "Seven Faces Of Truth" will be on sale at Boudisque in Utrecht. Of course, you can also order your CD online at Boudisque.
Thanks to Dave Smith at Ravenheart Music, the album is now on sale at many big retailers, such as Bol.com, HMV and Sonic Cathedral, just to name a few. Now there's a way to start your Christmas shopping! Of course, all official merchandise can be purchased through our own webshop.
